Scottish Water has started work on a new £24 million strategic water main – the major investment is set to benefit thousands of North Ayrshire customers.

United Utilities’  multi-million pound upgrade to the heartbeat of Liverpool’s water supply is over half way complete.

Watton WWTPAnglian Water’s £3 million investment to protect and improve water quality at Watton Water Recycling Centre and meet Water Framework Directive targets in Norfolk is being delivered with a sand filtration technology solution from Hydro International.

Ascendancy Water’s Edge software has successfully completed MOSL’s Market Entry Acceptance Testing (MEAT) on behalf of Castle Water and will become the billing software provider for all Thames region non-household customers.

Irish Water sets out 25 year sludge strategy

Irish Water has published a long-term National Wastewater Sludge Management Plan (NWSMP) that outlines its strategy to ensure a nationwide, standardised approach for the management, treatment, transport, storage and disposal of wastewater sludge over the next 25 years.

The Balfour Beatty, BAM Nuttall and Morgan Sindall  joint venture (BMB) has showcased two specialist tug boats this week which have been procured to support the delivery of the west section of the Thames Tideway Tunnel project.
