Severn Trent Water has gone out to tender with a contract for Asset Compliance Services during AMP6 worth an estimated £13 million.
The framework involves the statutory inspection of assets and the supply of new assets, including independent statutory inspections of lifting equipment cranes and electric hoists, pressure vessels, goods & passenger lifts, personal safety equipment. It also covers the inspection of pump chains,breathing apparatus compressors, crane and hydraulic jack servicing, the supply of lifting equipment and required remedial works.
Deadline for requests to participate in the contract, which is divided into 8 lots and worth between £10 million to £13 million, is 18th June.
Intersted suppliers will need to be registered on the STW eSourcing portal and Severn Trent will use an electronic auction. STW intends to shortlist at PQQ amd RFP stages, with the intention of to progressing between 2-30 suppliers to RFP stage.
