Southern Water has gone out to tender with an AMP7 contract to supply and maintain various types of valves, actuators and penstocks etc. worth an estimated £6.4 million.

The water company is looking to appoint a number of suppliers to the framework, which is being tendered in the following Lots:
- Lot 1 Isolation Valves
- Lot 2 Non-return Valves
- Lot 3 Air Valves
- Lot 4a Penstocks, Stoplogs and Cloughs
- Lot 4b Penstocks, Stoplogs and Cloughs
- Lot 4c Penstocks, Stoplogs and Cloughs
- Lot 4d Penstocks, Stoplogs and Cloughs
- Lot 5 Hydrants
- Lot 6 Maintenance
- Lot 7a Actuators
- Lot 7b Actuators
- Lot 7c Actuators
Initial contract term is four years with potential further extension options available.
