Avove appointed to deliver Yorkshire Water's £95 million Developer Services AMP8 Framework

Leading capital infrastructure and engineering services company Avove has been appointed to deliver Yorkshire Water's Developer Services during the AMP8 period 2025-2029.

Avove Executive Chair - Mark Perkins

After a robust procurement process, Avove has been appointed as the delivery partner for Yorkshire Water's Developer Services for the next four years, with a potential four-year extension. The framework involves provisions for domestic and commercial customers, ranging from new supply offerings for domestic customers to the installation of infrastructure to support new developments.

The contract covers all operational activity for both commercial and domestic developer services customers, with an emphasis on improving customer service. The contract is valued at approximately £95 million over the eight-year period.

Commenting on the contract win, Mark Perkins, Executive Chair at Avove, said:

"We are pleased to extend our long-standing partnership with Yorkshire Water as we undertake their developer services framework. The framework is a critical component of Yorkshire Water's ambitious AMP8 program, and our goal is to consistently deliver outstanding service to customers throughout Yorkshire. This accomplishment strengthens our position within UK utility frameworks for AMP8 and aligns with our strategic growth plans."

Imran Patel, Director of Customer Experience at Yorkshire Water, said:

"We are committed to delivering a high level of customer service and, on a wider scale, supporting the growth of the region as new developments are planned and built, and our partnership with Avove will help us to do so. We're looking forward to working closely with them over the next few years."

Avove will enhance collaboration within this service with regional developers, ensuring a strong focus on customer services and Yorkshire Water Developer Services Measure Experience (D-MeX) throughout the framework term.

Avove said its commitment to developer satisfaction, combined with its excellent operational, health and safety, and environmental performance will create an ideal platform for delivering outstanding services to all developers across the Yorkshire Region.

Agility will be a key aspect of this service, addressing market demands while maintaining strong operational performance. Avove's geographical location supports this goal, and it will continue to pursue value and synergies with other regions.

The announcement comes after a series of significant strategic wins for AMP8+ (water) and RIIO-ED2 (power) framework contracts for Avove across England, Scotland, and Wales. The contract wins, alongside existing customer growth, have resulted in Avove doubling in size since its formation in 2022.

Avove is an independent utilities infrastructure business – utilities clients include Severn Trent, United Utilities, Yorkshire Water, Northumbrian Water Group, Scottish Water, Northern Powergrid and SP Energy Networks.
