NI Water has gone out to tender with a contract for the supply, delivery, installation, commissioning and maintenance of Rotating Biological Contactors (RBCs) worth an estimated £19.2 million (inc VAT).

NI Water is tendering the contract in the following 3 Lots:
- Lot 1: RBC Package plants for PE less than 250 - £8.4 million including VAT
- Lot 2: Package Plants for PE greater than 250 and less than 1000 - £2.4 million including VAT
- Lot 3: Modular RBCs for PE greater than 500 - £8.4 million including VAT
Current estimated start and end contract dates are 9 October 2025 to 8 October 2028 with further possible extension options up to 8 October 2032.
Deadline for submission of enquiries about the tender is 12:00pm 14 July 2025 and the tender submission deadline is 12:00pm 25 July 2025.
