Thames Water has awarded a contract for its office fit out when it relocates its existing customer service contact centre in Swindon to new premises in the town with an estimated value of £7.2 million (inc VAT).

The current contact centre in Swindon, will relocate from Walnut Court to new premises situated at 1 Newbridge Square. The new location is subject to lease negotiation and this is currently underway.
Thames Water were seeking to appoint a partnering main contractor to deliver the project under a design and build procurement route. The proposed works involved are to adapt and fit-out the existing circa 35,000 sqft on levels 3 and 4 in order to create a fully functional office space aligned to the Thames Water brief.
The water company has awarded the contract for the Swindon office fit out to Overbury PLC.
Earliest date the contract will be signed is 30 September 2025 - current estimated start and end contract dates are 30 September 2025 to 5 May 2026.
