Northern Ireland Water seeks supply chain interest in framework for supply, commissioning, maintenance and repair of sludge management equipment

Northern Ireland Water has launched an early market engagement exercise ahead of going out to tender with a framework contract for the supply, commissioning, maintenance and repair of sludge management equipment on NI Water sites.

Current estimated start and end contract dates are 1 November 2026 to 31 October 2028 with a further possible extension to 31 October 2033.

NI Water is preparing to go out to market in 2026 to appoint suppliers - prior to publishing the tender, the water company would like to invite suppliers to meet with it in February 2026.

The purpose of the meetings is to outline the upcoming tender process and gather valuable market insights that may help shape the final requirements.
