Scottish retailer Everflow Ltd has made an application to for a water supply and sewerage licence to supply non-household customers in England when the retail market opens for business in April 2017.
Everflow was granted permission to supply retail water and wastewater services to businesses in Scotland in October 2015.
The company is hoping to attract businesses through a commitment to transparent pricing, so that customers can see exactly what they are getting for the money they pay. As part of its existing business strategy Everflow promises to beat any quote from another retailer when business go to them directly.
Deadline to submit representations or objections about the application to Ofwat is 3 February 2017.
