Pembrokeshire County Council has gone out to tender with a contract for the hire of plant and machinery worth an estimated £3.6 million.

The Council is looking to put a framework agreement in place for the hire of plant and machinery.
The framework is being tendered in various lots covering the hire of vehicles and plant with and without operator.
Plant and machinery covered under the contract includes:
- Concrete or mortar mixers
- Hire of construction and civil engineering machinery and equipment with operator
- Mechanical excavators
- Water pumps
- Hand-held electromechanical tools
- Cranes
- Tipper trucks
- Crane and dumper trucks
- Gully emptiers
- Gully cleaning and emptying services
- Gully cleaning services
- Gully emptying services
Sites covered under the contract are located throughout Pembrokeshire in West Wales and the Valleys.
Contract term is four years and PCC is looking to put a framework agreement in place with several operators.
