Scottish Water is seeking to appoint a maximum of six Non-Infrastructure Tier 1 Delivery Partners to support in the delivery of its future Capital Investment Programme, in a framework worth up to £360 million.
The Non Infrastructure Capital Investment Programme for Quality & Standards IV will include the renewal, upgrade, extension and maintenance of networks and assets for the treatment and distribution of water and for the collection and treatment of waste water.
The contracts will run for the regulatory period 2015 to 2021 and potentially extend into the following regulatory period, subject to satisfactory price and performance reviews.
Scottish Water intends to award contracts in the framework under two lots - Civil Engineering Contractors and Electrical and Mechanical Contractors – with 1-3 delivery partners awarded each lot. It is anticipated that predominately Non Infrastructure Tier 1 contractors will support the overall Delivery Partner responsible for the delivery and completion of the Non Infrastructure element of the Capital Investment Programme, but may also support wider Scottish Water business requirements.
The utility estimates annual spend to be £50-£60 million, meaning an estimated spend in the regulatory period in the region of £300-£360 million. The framework could potentially be extended into the next regulatory period.
Deadline for requests to participate is 4th November. All applicants who note their interest will be invited to attend a Bidders Day to be hosted by Scottish Water.
