May Gurney to cut C02 by 50%

May Gurney have outlined ambitious plans to slash emissions by 50% over the next three years as part of its commitment to meet the needs of a low-carbon economy and, ultimately, to be carbon neutral by 2014.

New wastewater treatment works for Toome

Ballymaguigan Wastewater Treatment Works (WwTW) on the outskirts of Toome has been given a major overhaul by Northern Ireland Water (NI Water) as part of its £10m Rural Wastewater Investment Programme.

Northern Ireland Water (NI Water) has unveiled its new £3m Huguenot Drive Wastewater Pumping Station in Lisburn.

Ofwat has appointed the fourth new entrant to supply both water and sewerage services to household customers (making five new entrants in total).

Ofwat has appointed a new water and sewerage company – the first new company to offer both services since privatisation – by granting its twelfth inset appointment.
